Job Purpose:

To plan, write and project manage dynamic, well thought out and thought-provoking content and communications in line with the company's strategic business objectives.

Main responsibilities and key activities:

  • Manage, plan and coordinate the production of exciting, engaging and thought-provoking copy for use across a variety of channels in line with the company strategy
  • Strong focus on developing new ideas for content that educates customers in plain English.
  • Overall ownership for the creation and management of the content calendar – strong awareness of all content being produced and planning where it can be re-used to get the maximum out of each piece.
  • Work with the content volunteers and social media manager to produce daily content for a variety of platforms.
  • Understand and adhere to brand guidelines at all times
  • Report results of content effectiveness in driving engagement and generating demand

Key Skill Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English language, verbal and written
  • Must have extensive experience working in a Content Writer role previously
  • Proven ability to create content that converts to business and brand preference
  • Exceptional writing, editing, organisational and project management skills, with experience following an editorial calendar and working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand a campaign, write and deliver a brief
  • Natural relationship builder
  • Competent in IT including Microsoft Office
