Legal Call Handler

Department: New Business Team

Salary: £16k / OTE £18K

Role Purpose: To handle new business calls in a professional manner, identify legal requirements and facilitate a smooth transition into the legal specialist and practice areas. It involves working closely with the legal specialist teams and legal practice areas to learn and develop your understanding of consumer law, whilst delivering great customer service on every call.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to new business enquiries promptly, handling inbound and outbound calls, emails and any other new enquiry channel
  • Act in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring the caller feels at ease
  • Setup new cases/claims and capture relevant and accurate details from the caller
  • Identify legal requirements and allocate them to the correct specialist team or practice area
  • Provide high quality detail about the caller to the specialist team or practice area

Essential Experience:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls in a high volume environment
  • Working towards targets

Desirable Experience:

  • Working knowledge of consumer legal services
