Conveyancing Assistant


Department:Residential Conveyancing

Salary:Up to £17k Hours

Closing date:18/12/2018

Role Purpose:  Supporting their aligned Fee Earner (FE) in driving transactions though to completion  by carrying admin activities , dealing with third parties, prioritise workloads and managing  inbound and outbound calls

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issuing contracts
  • Order searches, redemption statements, LR documents, requesting leasehold management packs
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls and email traffic in line with SLA
  • Support FE by managing communication channels
  • Ensure proclaim diary task are maintained in line with referrers SLA
  • Ensuring referrers update system maintained in line with SLA
  • Chase outstanding/ overdue paperwork or payments  from client, EA  or other third parties
  • Any reasonable conveyancing tasks as instructed by FE or TM
  • Prepare completion packs and lodge SDLT forms & payments

Experience / Knowledge / Qualifications

  • Experience of working with Estate agent groups ,conveyancing or customer service industry
  • Case management Software experience -  but not essential
